Medicare Supplement Insurance Conference Program
The program for the Ninth National Medicare Supplement Insurance Summit has been posted online today according to the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI), the conference organizer.
“The Medicare Supplement Summit is the only national conference exclusively focused on Medigap insurance and we have selected the most timely and relevant topics and the best speakers coming to share,” explains Jesse Slome, AAMSI director. The national Medigap conference takes place April 11-13, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.
Over 500 individuals attended the Association’s 2016 Summit that was held in Kansas City. “The Medicare Supplement insurance market continues to grow and this is the one place where all Medigap insurers, distributors and leading agents come to network, learn and keep up to date,” adds Slome.
The just-posted conference program includes sessions on marketing and selling, pricing and actuarial trends, legislative and regulatory, technology as well as underwriting and administrative issues facing insurers and those active in the Med Supp insurance arena.
Medigap Conference Program Online
In addition to the national Medicare Supplement insurance conference, organizers also announced a free day of programming specifically designed for agents. “The free day program will take place immediately prior to the start of the national conference.,” Slome notes. There is no cost to attend but an entry pass which can be accessed via the conference website is required to attend.
This marks the ninth time the Association has organized the conference which brings together the industry to focus on trends and developments. “As Medicare Supplement insurance sales continue to grow, the conference takes on greater importance and value,” Slome notes. “Attendance at the event grows by double digits every year as attendees find this is the ideal place to both learn and network with the people they want to meet and know.” The conference exhibit hall has been expanded for 2017 though Slome notes that booths are selling out.
